Salsa Verde

This sauce makes a great addition to Mexican food or to poured over steamed vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 green Bell pepper chopped
  • ¼ jalapeno pepper deseeded
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 1 bunch parsley chopped
  • 2 dates pitted
  • ½ c. pumpkin seeds chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ c. olive oil

Instructions

  • Coarsely chop all ingredients and then place in a food processor and blend.
