Rehydration Tea

Course Drinks, Repair Phase


  • large pot


  • 4-8 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. mint leaves fresh or dried
  • 2 tsp. gotu kola if easily available to you (otherwise omit)
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ c. lime juice
  • ¼ tsp. honey you may substitute with maple syurp or stevia


  • Boil the water. 
  • Remove the pan from the heat and add the herbs, salt, and lime juice. 
  • Let this mixture steep for ten minutes and strain.
  • When the tea has cooled down to room temperature, add the sweetener and drink warm or at room temperature throughout the day.
