Juliet is a graduate of The Ayurvedic Institute and student of Dr. Vasant Lad. As a diet and lifestyle practitioner, she leads educational workshops, teaches Ayurvedic Yoga, provides individual health consultations and employs Ayurvedic therapeutic treatments and herbology.  In addition, Panchakarma seasonal cleansing and herbology are also offered to aid clients in regaining their natural state of balanced health. Juliet has interned with both Jaisri M. Lambert and Dr. Alakananda Ma and completed Touch for Health training with Dr. Wayne Topping. Juliet hopes to generate interest in the ancient practice of Ayurveda which is a gentle path to holistic health.

Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Licensed Massage Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist

Laura Ann Smith is the Assistant Director at the Ayurvedic Health Center. She brings over 12 years of massage practice together with her training in Ayurvedic principles and therapies in order to provide deep and nurturing bodywork. The treatments combine the ancient methods utilized in Ayurveda for nourishing and detoxifying with the intuitive touch of a practiced therapist. Laura has also been trained to serve clients with hypnotherapy to help explore and/or release mental or emotional habits that have become obstacles to happiness and spritual emergence. Laura also provides bodywork and guidance to clients during the Panchakarma seasonal cleanse.

Vibrational Medicine Practitioner and Certified Energy Healer

Ashlie is a graduate of The Earthwalk School of Energy Healing. Her approach combines cross cultural methods based on ancient wisdom and philosophy blended with modern science. Her methods focus on the East Indian chakra system and utilize western philosophies of psychology and human development. Each session is designed around the client's needs, based on their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual state at the time. Sessions are focused on chakra clearing and balancing, and deep grounding work. She provides energy balancing for the nervous, lymphatic, spinal, respiratory systems, and also for cancer. She utilizes breath, sound, color, light, aromatherapy, acutonics, and applied kinesiology as needed, to assist in the process. Ashlie provides a compassionate, safe space to facilitate personal healing and growth.

As a massage practitioner, it is Laura’s goal to assist her clients in achieving a deep state of peace and relaxation in which true healing can occur. Throughout our day to day lives the body can become unbalanced and energy pathways can become stagnant leading to dysfunction in the form of pain, tension or emotional discomfort. Laura uses her compassion, knowledge of the body, and intuition to provide a nurturing and healing massage experience. She employs a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, myofascial, neuromuscular, and Ayurvedic to meet each client’s individual needs. Laura received her massage education from Whatcom Community College and also holds a B.A. in Psychology from Linfield College in McMinnville, OR. In her spare time Laura enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.

Jeannine studied massage at Cortiva Institute/Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle. After graduation, Jeannine traveled to India to study yoga and Ayurvedic health. After receiving a week of treatment in Southern India, Jeannine decided to incorporate Ayurveda into her practice. Jeannine enjoys doing myofacial, treatment work, and unwinding energy work in addition to single and dual Abyhanga massage. When not massaging Jeannine's hobbies are yoga, biking, hiking, travel, and meditation.

Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and Mehndi Artist

Amy is a graduate of the Kerala Ayurveda Academy in Seattle Washington. She is a certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and is working towards her certification for Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner. Amy offers junior consultations, and auspicious henna body painting art (mehndi) at our Center. Her beautiful mehndi designs created by her steady hand reflect the artistic skills that were refined at the Kansas City Art Institute. Amy has many hobbies that she likes to incorporate Ayurveda into, such as gardening, sewing, art and life.
